Our story

It started with a single Cairo stockyard. It became a region's supply chain.

The story began in 1962 with Sami Ahmad El Biali Co., a Cairo trading house supplying pipe and fittings to a country in the middle of an industrial awakening. Six decades on, that single business has grown into a vertically integrated group of seven companies spanning manufacturing, fluid control, firefighting and petroleum services.

Hydro Arabia is the group's commercial spearhead — the partner contractors, consultants and developers deal with when they need certified materials delivered on time and installed to standard. Behind it stands the manufacturing capacity, the global agencies and the regional footprint built patiently over sixty years.

We bring the same uncompromising standard to a gas project in Ras Laffan as we do to a landmark tower in Egypt's New Administrative Capital. Different scales, one promise: the system performs.

What we do

Four disciplines. One accountable supplier.

Most projects juggle a dozen vendors for their mechanical scope. We replace that with a single, certified source — from the raw pipe in the ground to the suppression system on the wall, supplied, manufactured and installed by one team.

  • Pipe networks & tubes

    Seamless and welded pipe in carbon steel, duplex, nickel, copper and aluminium — with grooved systems, valves, joints and fittings supplied from stock.

  • Fire protection & suppression

    Sprinkler, deluge, foam, clean-agent and aerosol systems, hydrants, cabinets and brass — certified for construction, oil & gas.

  • Mechanical & plumbing

    Drainage, sanitary, pumps and seismic control — complete plumbing and MEP packages engineered to specification.

  • EPC & after-sales

    Turnkey engineering, procurement and construction of complete mechanical systems, backed by commissioning and long-term service.
